I am a South African citizen that has travelled around the world for 7 years, gaining insight and an understanding for children on the spectrum as well as mainstream, finding ways to help develop a curriculum that enables these individuals speak out and grow in a comfortable and creative environment through a holistic approach, by looking at the individuals needs and interests. The brain is a powerful tool, and with confidence in ourselves we can do anything. This project helps learners leave feeling productive, proud and relieved outside of the school structured environment.

A dragonfly symbolizes “change and independence” and this is what I feel is the best for our youth, being able to express themselves in their own way, even if it might take a little longer than others. A dragonfly is beautiful on the inside and out and the project is developed to make our children feel the same way." – Kendra

Skills and Attributes

I am a young, enthusiastic individual that has travelled around the world to gain more knowledge and perspective in the teaching and psychology fields. I have travelled to USA, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong to continue to learn and be part of different cultures and learning programs, including the study of Montessori.

I have a great passion for children and love their energy, curiosity and creativity. I find great joy in being part of their learning process and always do my best to ensure each individual is able to understand my classes as well as be comfortable to perform at their best abilities. Learning is important, but I find each individual child’s happiness important too. I have completed my journey in an International Higher Education journey in Psychology with the Open University in the UK. Therefore, I have the skills and qualities to support our children in developmental, educational as well as in a psychological manner.

It is my mission to give out my knowledge and understanding to shape and mould our youth of today into strong, successful and happy beings.
